We have extensive experience leading and executing risk management projects, including Governance, Internal Controls, Process Assessments and Sarbanes-Oxley projects across global organizations.

We managed and successfully helped a multi-billion global mining company, with operations in 18 countries, implement on-time a standarized framework of IT General Computer Controls in 17 locations worldwide, to ensure their operations supported Internal Controls for Financial Reporting for Sarbanes Oxley Compliance.

We were part of the the Project Management Office (PMO) of a $60 Mil. program that helped one of Canada's largest banks become the second company in the world, first in Canada, to be SOX-compliant -- one full year ahead of schedule.

Our project management expertise in SOX-related projects  goes from developing the methodologies and frameworks to leading and controlling the execution of the projects. We have overseen the execution of the corporate assessment in over 60 businesses worldwide for one client, or implementing a framework of internal controls in 3 continents for another client.

We have deep understanding of the controls assessment methodology, and through painful lessons learned (after going through the process so many times), we are experienced in the most cost-effective way to conduct prepare for and become Sarbanes Oxley compliant. For one client alone we realize over $1.5 million is cost savings.

IT plays a vital role in internal control. The financial reporting processes of most organizations are driven by IT systems. Few companies manage their data manually and most companies rely on electronic management of data, documents, and key operational processes.

We have extensive experience managing projects to identify, document, test and improve IT General Computer Controls, or IT GCC, using the COBIT framework.

In addition, we have experience assessing Operational Process Controls that mitigate market, credit, strategic and operational risk using the COSO Framework.
